Why Flannels are always in style in the fall: They are a great layering piece, they add color, they add texture, and they add pattern to your outfit. I wanted to show some of the best affordable men's flannels and 4 different ways to wear them.
I showed Walmart flannels, American Eagle flannels, and a Timberland flannel. In my opinion these are some of the best brands for men's flannels if you want affordable or cheap flannels.
Are flannels attractive? Honestly I think it just depends on if you know how to wear them. Sometimes you need a little bit of color to make an outfit work, sometimes you just need the pattern and sometimes the texture and color of a flannel can make an entire outfit.
First Outfit: 5:08 This outfit has a navy and brown flannel from Walmart. I also layered a cream denim jacket over top of it. I have some blue jeans from ASOS and some light brown boots from Timberland. I finished the outfit off with this Navy Yankees hat from Aime Leon Dore.
Second Outfit: 5:56 In this outfit I have an American Eagle flannel tied around my waist just to add some pattern to the outfit because the rest of it is fairly basic. Some Metallic Navy Jordan 1's, dark wash blue jeans, a light blue t-shirt, and a cream colored beanie from Levi.
Third Outfit: 6:50 I started with the American Eagle flannel that has a bunch of different colors in it. I knew I wanted to work with the gold stripe in the flannel because I wanted to pair it with these mustard yellow Vans Sk8-hi's. I paired that with some normal blue jeans and a white long sleeve for a pretty casual outfit.
Final Outfit: 7:52 This final outfit features my favorite cream and orange Timberland Flannel. I don't think you necessarily need to use the orange in your color scheme because it is so faint, but in my case it paired well with these classic wheat timberlands (that are beat). I also wore some distressed black jeans and a cream hoodie from Under Armor. To finish it off, a dark grey beanie form Herschel for the colder weather.
