What to wear to a Christmas party in 2022. Outfit ideas for men going to casual Christmas parties or even some modestly dressed up Christmas parties. I like to wear sweaters this time of year but I also don't love Christmas sweaters so I have an option for that, an option that is a bit more casual with a button up, and a very casual Christmas party outfit with some sweatpants and a hoodie.
Let’s get right into it….. Christmas party, you don’t know what to wear, you need to look good, but you also want to be comfortable just in case you’re there for too long.
I have 3 options for you; All of which I will be wearing this Christmas.
The first is the super comfortable outfit. On Christmas eve my family makes tamales in the morning with our cousins and this is simply not the time to be dressed up. With that being said, you can be comfortable and still wear an outfit you enjoy.
So with this one I started with these cream colored sweatpants from Pacsun that have this little cuff at the bottom.
I then added this brown hoodie from Banana Republic. You can already see how basic I was going with this outfit.
I then added these Puma Suedes because they are classic and comfortable
And then finished the outfit off with this hat from Eddie Win
All together it is a boring outfit but we are with family and sometimes boring and comfortable is what we are going for
NOW.
If boring is not what you are going for, say you’re going to visit your significant others family, or in my case, you have a Christmas party with family where you take a family picture every year, you need to go with something a little more put together and stylish. You can wear a dress shirt and blazer here if you like but i personally wanted to go with a sweater.
I have this J. Crew sweater with a lot of pattern that was clearly going to be my statement piece.
I wanted to have a collar showing some white so I just through this white button up from hurley on underneath
Paired it with some blue chino’s from J. Crew also.
I tucked in the shirt and sweater so I could add this belt that I thrifted
and if you haven’t seen be wear these boots you probably don’t watch many of my videos but these Timberland Boots went on
and my beanie from levi finished off the outfit
This one is going to more formal but still fairly comfortable. Whenever its the holidays even if I am dressing up a little bit i want to be comfortable so even with this dressier look I have comfortable chino’s and a thick sweater that isn’t itchy.
The last look is going to be in between the first two options. This is what I’ll be wearing christmas morning and through the day. I will be super relaxed but also more dressed up and put together than the first outfit.
I started with my favorite jeans, its important to pick some comfortable jeans if you’re going to wear denim.
I then wanted to wear this Yellow corduroy shirt from Levi.
I knew I was going to wear it unbuttoned so I decided to pair it with this long sleeve waffle shirt so there was even more texture.vIf my outfit doesn’t have a lot of pattern I like to try and give it more texture.
I then paired the yellow with the yellow in these Puma RS-X’s which I loved together
Lastly, just to bring even more yellow, I added this snapback hat from Puma that has this taxi cab on it.
This outfit is probably my favorite of the three. Mostly because I have been loving this color yellow recently.
