What to wear to a Christmas party in 2022. Outfit ideas for men going to casual Christmas parties or even some modestly dressed up Christmas parties. I like to wear sweaters this time of year but I also don't love Christmas sweaters so I have an option for that, an option that is a bit more casual with a button up, and a very casual Christmas party outfit with some sweatpants and a hoodie. Let’s get right into it….. Christmas party, you don’t know what to wear, you need to look good, but you also want to be comfortable just in case you’re there for too long. I have 3 options for you; All of which I will be wearing this Christmas. The first is the super comfortable outfit. On Christmas eve my family makes tamales in the morning with our cousins and this is simply not the time to be dressed up. With that being said, you can be comfortable and still wear an outfit you enjoy. So with this one I started with these cream colored sweatpants from Pacsun that have this little cuff at the bottom. I then added this brown hoodie from Banana Republic. You can already see how basic I was going with this outfit. I then added these Puma Suedes because they are classic and comfortable And then finished the outfit off with this hat from Eddie Win All together it is a boring outfit but we are with family and sometimes boring and comfortable is what we are going for NOW. If boring is not what you are going for, say you’re going to visit your significant others family, or in my case, you have a Christmas party with family where you take a family picture every year, you need to go with something a little more put together and stylish. You can wear a dress shirt and blazer here if you like but i personally wanted to go with a sweater. I have this J. Crew sweater with a lot of pattern that was clearly going to be my statement piece. I wanted to have a collar showing some white so I just through this white button up from hurley on underneath Paired it with some blue chino’s from J. Crew also. I tucked in the shirt and sweater so I could add this belt that I thrifted and if you haven’t seen be wear these boots you probably don’t watch many of my videos but these Timberland Boots went on and my beanie from levi finished off the outfit This one is going to more formal but still fairly comfortable. Whenever its the holidays even if I am dressing up a little bit i want to be comfortable so even with this dressier look I have comfortable chino’s and a thick sweater that isn’t itchy. The last look is going to be in between the first two options. This is what I’ll be wearing christmas morning and through the day. I will be super relaxed but also more dressed up and put together than the first outfit. I started with my favorite jeans, its important to pick some comfortable jeans if you’re going to wear denim. I then wanted to wear this Yellow corduroy shirt from Levi. I knew I was going to wear it unbuttoned so I decided to pair it with this long sleeve waffle shirt so there was even more texture.vIf my outfit doesn’t have a lot of pattern I like to try and give it more texture. I then paired the yellow with the yellow in these Puma RS-X’s which I loved together Lastly, just to bring even more yellow, I added this snapback hat from Puma that has this taxi cab on it. This outfit is probably my favorite of the three. Mostly because I have been loving this color yellow recently. How to wear corduroys. 3 different fits and styles for men wearing corduroys in 2022. Whether you like a slim fit, straight fit, or loose/relaxed fit corduroy, you can wear corduroys with confidence. Corduroy’s are not for everyone. If you’re going to wear them you have to wear them correctly and in this video I’m going to give you 3 different ways to think about styling your Corduroy Pants. Can you wear corduroys in the summer? First of all, Corduroy’s are a thick material with a lot of texture which means wearing them in the warmer months is usually a no-go. When it gets a little colder break them out to bring something more to your outfit then the same pair of jeans you always wear. I wanted to show 3 different fits or corduroy’s slim, relaxed, and somewhere in the middle and ways to style those different fits. First off some people like a slimmer fit pair of pants. something tapered at the ankle. I have these cream colored corduroy’s that I paired with some loafers to show that. I think a tighter fit is better complimented with a slimmer shoe like an oxford or loafer than a wider fit would be. With this outfit I also wanted to show that corduroy’s can be dressed up a little bit, but aren’t necessarily “formal attire” I am wearing this J. Crew button up and a Tommy Hilfiger sweater vest to show just how much you can dress corduroy’s up, but It was also cold so I through on this trucker jacket from Levi to show corduroy’s are not limited to just formal menswear. and here is how it all looked together. The next option is the opposite. If you like a looser fit, a corduroy is a good option for you. They can be very casual. This is not my favorite style. As anyone who has seen my videos in the past knows, this is not a typical look for me, but I do think it could be a good look for some people though if this relaxed look fits your personal style. I just wore some white leather sneakers that is mostly covered by the pants and this timberland rugby shirt. It was cold so this puffer jacket also went on. and here is how that outfit looks all together. The final option is my personal favorite for corduroy’s and that is somewhere in the middle of these two extremes. Not a slim fit, not a relaxed fit, not really formal but also not really relaxed. I paired these brown corduroy’s with some boots and I love how they sit on top of them. I then added this crewneck sweater and tucked it in and because this whole outfit was pretty monochrome I decided to throw on a grey top coat from J. Crew that has a subtle brown check to round out the look. Like I said this is my favorite look of the 3 as it really captures my personal style. At the end of the day you need to mess around with different looks to find out what your favorite look is. For me I like slim jeans so I assumed i would prefer the same look with corduroy’s but I realized recently that I prefer the looser look on these. Mess with different looks, see what you like and rock it with confidence. Red Adidas Gazelles. My two favorite ways of styling these adidas originals. When it comes to bright red shoes I like a vintage Levi cropped crewneck or a monochrome look. If you clicked on this you most likely either have some Adidas Gazelle’s or a bright colored shoe that you want to wear. I’m going to show you my two favorite ways to approach styling shoes like these My second favorite way to wear gazelle’s is with a lighter wash pair of denim. These are my lightest pair of jeans outside of this grey pair that I’m not going to do an outfit of because they are too tight on me now. I do like Gazelles with grey jeans though. The red sock underneath is obviously not needed but it can sometimes add a little more to the outfit if you have something like it. In this outfit I wanted to go with a couple of shades of red to pair with the vintage style sneaker so I have this Levi crewneck that was from Costco. I don’t normally do this but I wanted a cropped sweatshirt look without actually cropping my sweatshirt so I just tied this string and folded the crew neck under. A lot of people will probably wear these with track pants and I like this look, but these just aren’t as much my style I normally wear these to work out only. My absolute favorite way to wear these sneakers however, is with an all black monochrome outfit. I love letting the shoes do all of the talking here. They are a clean recognizable silhouette and the bright color can do all of the work. Going with a monochrome look is becoming more and more in style and I think adding your own twist of color only makes it better I have some black denim, a charcoal Fila sweatshirt and a black jacket and hat to give me a monochrome look while the bright red draws all of the attention. This look is easy to pull off but isn’t boring. Mess around with this one with different colors to see which is your favorite. You simply cannot talk about the work boot without talking about Timberlands 6 in premium boot in the wheat color way. Timberlands are made to be worked in and beat up so that is exactly how I style them. I wear timberland boots with sweatpants or jeans for the most part. Dirty wheat timbs are still very wearable, the sillouette and color speak for themselves you do not need to go and get a clean pair every year. OUFIT #1: First with some denim. Just throw on your favorite pair of jeans here I went with dark wash jeans with Wheat Timbs obviously. I also through on a tan hoodie that I thrifted to stick with the earth tones and then layered this timberland puffer jacket over top. To complete the look, a Levi beanie that I rarely take off. OUTFIT #2: Wheat Timbs look good with sweatpants as well. These are some orange Nike cargo sweatpants that are a real staple for me in the fall for obvious reasons. You don't want to get stuck trying to style a work boot as a dress boot because your whole outfit will look off. Sometimes it can be tough to know what shoe is going to be best for your outfit and its important to start with the basics. What is a dress boot? What is a casual boot? and what is a work boot? The dress boot should be worn with clean lines. You don't need to wear dress boots with a suit or some other form of formal attire. When wearing dress boots you should avoid baggy clothing though. I would stick to some tapered jeans or chino's when styling these. The work boot has a lot more freedom when it comes to fit and style. I think these look better the more relaxed your outfit is. If you can wear some relaxed fit denim or even some sweatpants with work boots it will be a good look. Timberland boots are the perfect example and have a long history of being a go to boot for people especially in the midwest and east coast. Red Wing boots are also a great work boot if you want a different look than the premium 6in Timberland boot. Remember that these boots are rugged for a reason. They are going to last you a long time so don't be afraid to wear them a lot and beat them up a little bit. They look better with wear in my opinion. The beat up Timberland is a go to for me all Winter. The casual boot is everything in between. Not to dressy to need certain restrictions but also not so relaxed that you can just throw them on with anything. They look nice with denim and chino's (I love boots with chino's). I wanted to show some of the best affordable men's flannels and 4 different ways to wear them. I showed Walmart flannels, American Eagle flannels, and a Timberland flannel. In my opinion these are some of the best brands for men's flannels if you want affordable or cheap flannels. Are flannels attractive? Honestly I think it just depends on if you know how to wear them. Sometimes you need a little bit of color to make an outfit work, sometimes you just need the pattern and sometimes the texture and color of a flannel can make an entire outfit. First Outfit: 5:08 This outfit has a navy and brown flannel from Walmart. I also layered a cream denim jacket over top of it. I have some blue jeans from ASOS and some light brown boots from Timberland. I finished the outfit off with this Navy Yankees hat from Aime Leon Dore. Second Outfit: 5:56 In this outfit I have an American Eagle flannel tied around my waist just to add some pattern to the outfit because the rest of it is fairly basic. Some Metallic Navy Jordan 1's, dark wash blue jeans, a light blue t-shirt, and a cream colored beanie from Levi. Third Outfit: 6:50 I started with the American Eagle flannel that has a bunch of different colors in it. I knew I wanted to work with the gold stripe in the flannel because I wanted to pair it with these mustard yellow Vans Sk8-hi's. I paired that with some normal blue jeans and a white long sleeve for a pretty casual outfit. Final Outfit: 7:52 This final outfit features my favorite cream and orange Timberland Flannel. I don't think you necessarily need to use the orange in your color scheme because it is so faint, but in my case it paired well with these classic wheat timberlands (that are beat). Another side of my style is menswear. I love clark's for that reason. What I love about Clark's is you can easily mix them into both menswear and streetwear.
